About

In 2004, my husband and I bought our first house.  We always thought of it as a starter house, so this "house" never quite felt like "home" to me.  Six years later, we finally began our quest to find a new house and transform it into our new home.  I started this blog to document and share our journey.  In December 2011, we closed on our new house and moved in, but the transformation continues, our story continues, and so does this blog.
